Exercise Objective
To apply Rosgen Level I Valley imagery analysis to classify Valley type.
Exercise Process
- Examine the Valley imagery directly in this FGM Module slide or download and examine in ImageJ software.
- Consider the shape of the watershed terrain surrounding the channel.
- Compare the terrain pattern to the illustration and descriptions given in the earlier Valley type key of this FGM Module Section.
- Select a Valley type I to XI for this slide's image.
